The composition makes them more machinable, weldable, and performs better. These cold-drawn tubes have superior mechanical properties like tensile strength from 340 to 580 MPa and yield strength from 235 to 420 MPa based on the grade and heat treatment. Their slippery internal surface, dimensional accuracy, and capacity for high pressure render them suitable for uses involving tight tolerances, corrosion resistance (if coated), and uniform mechanical performance.
