Copper Nickel Welded Pipes contain largely copper, nickel, with lesser proportions of iron and manganese as additives for enhancing strength and resilience against corrosion. The standard composition consists of approximately 70% copper, 30% nickel, and minor iron and manganese content, offering great resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and general corrosion. The pipes provide good tensile strength (about 350–500 MPa), yield strength (240–300 MPa), and excellent ductility. The alloy also offers greater resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and Copper Nickel Welded Pipes are best suited for extreme environmental conditions and high-pressure applications.
