Duplex Steel Pipes comprise mostly of 22% Chromium, 5-6% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum, and 0.2% Nitrogen and feature exceptional corrosion and tensile strengths. Properties mechanically comprise a high yield strength of approximately 450 MPa as well as a tensile strength of up to 700 MPa, displaying excellent resistance towards stress corrosion cracking and fatigue. Physically, Duplex Steel has a density of 7.8 g/cm³, melting point of 1350°C, as well as a thermal conductivity of 19 W/m·K, which make it suitable for high-pressure as well as demanding environmental applications.
