Alloy 20 Pipe consists of nickel (32–38%), iron (balance), chromium (19–21%), copper (3–4%), and molybdenum (2–3%) in its composition. This special mix is very resistant to sulfuric acid and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Alloys 20 mechanically possess a tensile strength of approximately 551 MPa (80 ksi) and yield strength of 241 MPa (35 ksi) with an elongation of 30% in 50mm. It has good weldability and fabricability, which makes it suitable for challenging industrial applications. Its corrosion resistance and strength make it a choice for harsh chemical environments.
