These pipes possess very good mechanical properties, with tensile strength typically between 410 and 630 MPa and yield strength between 235 and 355 MPa, depending on the grade of steel. Intended for the transmission of fluids under pressure, the pipes are normally supplied in normalized or thermomechanically treated forms, provided with high toughness, satisfactory impact resistance, and stable performance under differing pressure and temperature regimes.
