Hastelloy Pipes are fabricated from corrosion-resistant metal alloys that are mainly composed of nickel (up to 60%), with major additions of molybdenum, chromium, iron, and cobalt, depending on the grade (e.g., C-22, C-276). The special composition provides outstanding resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents, and they are thus ideal for severe chemical environments. Mechanically, Hastelloy pipes have high tensile strength (690–790 MPa), excellent ductility, and good thermal stability. They also exhibit resistance to pitting, stress corrosion cracking, and crevice corrosion. Their integrity and strength in high pressure and temperature conditions make Hastelloy pipes a good option for critical industrial systems.
