Stainless Steel 443 Pipes are ferritic stainless steel pipes with an approximate composition of 21% chromium, 0.03% max carbon, and traces of titanium and niobium for improved stabilization and weldability. It has a good corrosion and oxidation resistance, mainly in moist and high-temperature environments. SS 443 has fair mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of approximately 415–600 MPa, yield strength of roughly 205 MPa, and elongation of up to 25%. These pipes have good stress corrosion cracking resistance, formability, and thermal conductivity, which qualify them for corrosive and high-temperature service conditions.
