The pipes provide a tensile strength ranging around 485–620 MPa and a yield strength ranging around 170–310 MPa, depending on the condition. With great formability, toughness, and resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, SS 316L is a performer in chloride-enriched corrosive environments and can be used for high-pressure as well as low-temperature applications.
