430Ti Stainless Steel Pipes are titanium stabilized ferritic stainless steel pipes which provide increased intergranular corrosion resistance and increased weldability. The standard chemical composition consists of chromium (16–18%), titanium (0.2–0.8%), low carbon (up to 0.02%), trace manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. Such pipes provide desirable mechanical properties in the form of tensile strength of about 450 MPa, yield strength of about 280 MPa, and adequate elongation. The titanium stabilization inhibits carbide precipitation in welding and, as such, is appropriate for high-temperature application. Stainless Steel 430Ti exhibits superior formability, resistance to oxidation, and stability in performance at moderate corrosion and at elevated temperatures.
