Stainless Steel 314 Pipes are high-temperature austenitic stainless steels containing about 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and a maximum of 0.25% carbon. The alloy includes a small amount of added silicon (up to 1.5–3%) for a better oxidation resistance at higher temperatures. Pipes have good mechanical strength, tensile strength of about 570 MPa, yield strength of 235 MPa, and elongation of 40%. Their high temperature stability and extreme resistance to scaling and corrosion render them optimal for thermal uses, providing long service life even under constant exposure to heat.
