410 Stainless Steel Tubing is a martensitic stainless steel having iron, chromium (11.5–13.5%), and carbon (0.15%) with minor residues of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. It has very good strength and hardness coupled with moderate corrosion resistance. It has tensile strength of up to 700 MPa and yield strength of approximately 275 MPa with satisfactory wear resistance and heat stability. SS 410 can be heat-treated to enhance mechanical properties, which makes it ideal for high-stress applications. Its machinability, hardness, and strength make it a versatile material for structural and thermal applications.
