The reduced carbon content (up to 0.08%) makes it suitable for welded applications without affecting strength. The tubing has a minimum tensile strength of 520 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, with acceptable ductility and toughness. The mechanical stability and thermal resistance ensure that it is well suited to be used in high-temperature industrial applications.
