Stainless Steel 253Ma Tubing is an austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel alloy with about 21% chromium, 11% nickel, 1.7% silicon, and minor additions of nitrogen and rare earth elements for improved oxidation and creep resistance. It provides superior mechanical properties, such as a tensile strength of approximately 87 ksi and yield strength of about 45 ksi. The material retains very high strength and structural integrity at high temperatures, up to 1100°C. Its special composition enables it to resist scaling and deformation under thermal stress, and hence it is the first choice for high-heat industrial applications.
