Stainless Steel 310H Tubing is a high-carbon version of SS 310, having 25–30% chromium and 19–22% nickel with a carbon level of 0.04–0.10%. The composition increases its high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation and scaling in harsh environments. The mechanical strength of SS 310H is tensile strength around 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 40%. The high carbon content gives extra strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, so it is well suited for high-stress applications. It also has good weldability and formability.
