Titanium Gr 11 Tubes consist of commercially pure titanium with a minute amount of palladium (0.12% to 0.25%), having the same structure as Titanium Grade 1 but with better corrosion resistance. The alloy possesses superior resistance to reducing acids and crevice corrosion. Mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of about 240 MPa (35,000 psi), yield strength of 170 MPa (25,000 psi), and elongation of about 24%. Titanium Gr 11 retains excellent ductility, formability, and weldability, and thus it is best suited to be fabricated under severe industrial conditions where long-term performance is necessitated.
