Titanium EFW (Electric Fusion Welded) Pipes are produced from high-quality titanium alloys like Grade 2 and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), which mainly comprise titanium, with minor additions of aluminum and vanadium for added strength. These pipes have very good mechanical properties, such as a yield strength of up to 950 MPa and a tensile strength of about 880 MPa in Grade 5. Titanium EFW Pipes have superior resistance to corrosion, particularly due to chloride-induced stress corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Their high strength-to-weight ratio, along with superior weldability, allows them to find applications in challenging situations under severe environments.
