Titanium Gr 1 Pipes are produced from unalloyed, commercially pure titanium with about 99.6% titanium content. It is the most ductile of all the titanium grades, with superior corrosion resistance and excellent formability. Its mechanical properties consist of a tensile strength of around 240 MPa (35,000 psi), yield strength of 170 MPa (25,000 psi), and elongation of about 24%. Due to its low density of 4.51 g/cm³, Titanium Grade 1 is the best for uses where high corrosion resistance is necessary, especially in oxidizing and aqueous conditions, but remain easy to weld and fabricate.
