Titanium Gr 2 Tubing consists mainly of titanium (minimum 98.9%) along with small amounts of iron, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. This commercially pure titanium alloy provides superior corrosion resistance and good strength. It possesses a tensile strength of approximately 344 MPa (50,000 psi), yield strength of 275 MPa (40,000 psi), and elongation of 20%. Its superior ductility and good weldability allow it to be perfect for forming and fabrication. The tubing has a low density of 4.51 g/cm³ and retains good mechanical properties even at high temperatures.
