Aluminium 6063 Pipes consist of an aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy containing approximately 97.5% aluminium as the major element, along with magnesium (0.45–0.9%) and silicon (0.2–0.6%) as the key alloying components. This allows the alloy to have excellent resistance to corrosion, good weldability, and a fine surface finish. In the T5 or T6 temper, Aluminium 6063 Pipes provide tensile strength in the range of 145–240 MPa and yield strength around 110–190 MPa. The good extrudability and heat conductivity of the alloy render it appropriate for architectural and moderate-strength structural applications, particularly where durability and beauty are equally considered.
