Common mechanical properties are tensile strength of 130–200 MPa and yield strength of about 115 MPa, with good elongation and high workability. Aluminium 3003 has excellent weldability and can be easily shaped into different forms, and it is best suited for applications where moderate strength, better corrosion resistance, and ease of fabrication are needed.
