Aluminium 1060 tubing is made up of 99.6% pure aluminium, giving it superior corrosion resistance and high thermal as well as electrical conductivity. It has a low-density structure which makes it light in weight but strong and flexible. The mechanical attributes are good tensile strength usually 110-150 MPa, and high elongation up to 30%. Physically, Aluminium 1060 is 2.70 g/cm³ in density and around 660°C in melting point. This tubing can easily be formed, is resistant to oxidation, and well adapted to applications needing high conductivity and durability.
