Stainless Steel 316Ti EFW Pipes consist of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and an amount of titanium at least five times the amount of carbon for stabilization. The composition enhances weldability and corrosion resistance. This composition enhances intergranular corrosion resistance when subjected to welding and high-temperature exposure. The pipes have very good mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of around 550 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of around 40%. SS 316Ti EFW pipes retain high toughness, weldability, and formability, which makes them appropriate for aggressive environments with high temperatures and corrosive substances.
