Stainless Steel 316H EFW Pipes are a high-carbon variant of SS 316, providing better high-temperature strength and creep resistance. The alloy generally has 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a higher carbon level (0.04–0.10%). This composition makes it more resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-rich environments. Mechanically, SS 316H pipes provide tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. The pipes are strong structurally at high pressure and temperature and thus suitable for heat-intensive and corrosive applications.
