304L Stainless Steel Welded Pipes contain predominantly iron, chromium (18–20%), and nickel (8–12%), along with very little carbon, whose low percentage enhances weldability and lowers the probability of carbide precipitation upon welding. This austenitic stainless steel type offers good corrosion resistance, particularly in mildly corrosive environments. The mechanical properties are a tensile strength of about 485 MPa and a yield strength of 170 MPa, with good elongation and toughness. These features make welded pipes of 304L ideal for structural and pressure applications where strength and corrosion resistance are needed.
