Hastelloy C22 tubing is composed mostly of nickel (approximately 56%), augmented by large chromium (20–22.5%), molybdenum (12.5–14.5%), and iron (2–6%) additions, along with minor amounts of cobalt and tungsten. The advanced alloy has good resistance to a wide range of corrosive media, oxidizing and reducing agents. Mechanically, Hastelloy C22 tube has high tensile strength (approximately 690 MPa), yield strength (283 MPa), and elongation up to 45%, with superior formability and durability. Such properties render it well-suited for harsh chemical and high-temperature processes under tough industrial conditions.
