Hastelloy Instrumentation Tubing is mostly made of nickel with considerable proportions of molybdenum, chromium, iron, and cobalt, based on the grade (e.g., C-22 or C-276). This mix of materials offers improved resistance to corrosion, particularly in aggressive chemical conditions. Mechanically, Hastelloy tubing also possesses excellent durability and strength with a tensile strength of approximately 690 MPa and yield strength at around 283 MPa. It retains good ductility and toughness at elevated temperature, making it suitable for high-reliability applications. Its good mechanical properties provide long-term performance in demanding industrial equipment.
