Hastelloy C22 Tubing contains a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy along with other elements like iron and tungsten for improving corrosion resistance. The typical composition consists of around 56% nickel, 20–22.5% chromium, 12.5–14.5% molybdenum, 2–6% iron, and 2.5–3.5% tungsten. This alloy has tensile strength of about 690 MPa and a yield strength of about 283 MPa, together with superior ductility and thermal stability. Hastelloy C22 Tubing offers exceptional resistance to crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking and is therefore used in high-stress and corrosive industrial use.

Hastelloy C22 Tubing is used commonly in various industries in which high corrosion resistance is critical.
