Stainless Steel 347 and 347H Welded Tubing are stabilized austenitic stainless steels with chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), and niobium (columbium), which improves resistance to intergranular corrosion. 347H is a high-carbon version intended for better performance at high temperatures. These tubes have mechanical properties like tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 35%. Their good mechanical strength, weldability, and resistance to oxidation and creep at high temperatures make them best suited for harsh industrial applications that subject them to high temperatures and corrosive agents.
