Duplex Steel Tubing consists mainly of 22% Chromium, 5–6% Nickel, 3% Molybdenum, and 0.2% Nitrogen, offering high corrosion resistance and greater strength. Its mechanical properties are a yield strength of around 450 MPa, tensile strength of 620-880 MPa, and excellent resistance against stress corrosion cracking and fatigue. Physically Duplex steel has a density of 7.8 g/cm³ a melting point of 1350-1400°C and thermal conductivity of 19 W/m·K, which makes it a material for high-pressure and harsh environments.
