Titanium Gr 5 Tubing, or Ti-6Al-4V, is an alpha-beta alloy made up of about 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. It has improved strength, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance due to this composition. Titanium Gr 5 has very good mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength (up to 1000 MPa), satisfactory fatigue resistance, and low weight, which make it suitable for weight-critical applications. It has stability at high temperatures and good formability and weldability.
