Monel Seamless Tubing consists mainly of nickel-copper alloy containing approximately 63% nickel and 30% copper along with minute traces of iron, manganese, and silicon. This gives the tubing very good corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and chemical service. The tubing is highly resistant to tensile strength, has very good toughness, and weldability. It retains mechanical stability over a broad range of temperatures, including low-temperature, cryogenic conditions. Monel’s pitting resistance, stress-corrosion cracking resistance, and high-pressure environment resistance make it a perfect application for seamless tubing in demanding uses where durability and long-term performance are needed.
