Incoloy Coil Tubing is made largely of nickel, iron, and chromium, with added molybdenum, copper, and titanium, which provides excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. Mechanically it offers a tensile strength of about 585–790 MPa, yield strength of about 220–450 MPa, and elongation of up to 30%, providing sustainability in stress. Physically, it is about 8.0 g/cm³ in density and has a melting point of 1350–1400°C. Due to its superior thermal stability and resistance to scaling it is suitable for high-temperature and corrosive chemical settings.
