Inconel ERW Pipe consists mainly of a high nickel content (more than 58%) and chromium (approximately 20–23%), with major additions of molybdenum, niobium, iron, and minor additions of other elements. This composition of the alloy provides superior resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and high temperature. Mechanically, Inconel ERW pipes have very high tensile strength of around 827 MPa, yield strength of about 414 MPa, and elongation to 30%, providing excellent toughness and resilience. The ERW process of manufacturing improves the uniformity and strength and renders these pipes ideal for tough industrial use where structural integrity combined with endurance in harsh conditions is needed.
