Incoloy 825 Pipe is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing considerable molybdenum, copper, and titanium additions, normally consisting of approximately 38–46% nickel, 19.5–23.5% iron, 19.5–23.5% chromium, 2.5–3.5% molybdenum, and 1.5–3% copper. This composition provides superior resistance to reducing acids and oxidizing acids, such as sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The alloy has a tensile strength of approximately 550–700 MPa and a yield strength of around 220–300 MPa with good impact properties and ductility. Incoloy 825 has consistent mechanical properties over a broad temperature range with excellent performance in corrosive and high-pressure conditions.
