Super Duplex Steel Mechanical Tubing is produced from high-performance duplex grades like UNS S32750 and S32760, which have around 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and supplementary nitrogen. The balanced chemistry leads to a two-phase austenitic-ferritic microstructure, which offers superior corrosion resistance, particularly to pitting and stress corrosion cracking. The tubing has excellent mechanical properties like high tensile strength up to 800 MPa and superior fatigue resistance. It also possesses fine weldability and toughness, including at low temperatures. Such qualities make it an appropriate application where superior structural properties, chemical attack resistance, and long life of service are essential.
