LSAW Pipes Mild Steel are made from low–carbon steel having approximately 0.05% to 0.25% carbon content plus minor amounts of manganese, silicon, and minor elements. This composition is good for weldability and machinability and has moderate tensile strength. These pipes tend to have a tensile strength of 415–530 MPa and a yield strength of 240–350 MPa, with good elongation and impact resistance. The LSAW process ensures high dimensional accuracy and uniform wall thickness, so they are ideal for conveying fluids under high pressure.
