Impex Tube India Inconel 601 Tubing is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with aluminum additions, and it is formulated for enhanced resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. It generally consists of approximately 61% nickel, 23% chromium, 1.4% aluminum, and trace amounts of iron and other components. The alloy has very good mechanical strength, with tensile strength of approximately 550–750 MPa and yield strength of about 310 MPa. Inconel 601 has structural stability at high temperatures and has good creep and rupture strength. Its metallurgical stability and also high oxidation resistance make it fit for challenging situations with high mechanical and thermal stresses.
