16Mo3 pipes consist of chromium-molybdenum alloy steel having high high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. It contains around 0.12% carbon, 0.30% silicon, 0.80% manganese, 0.20% molybdenum, and 0.40% chromium along with traces of phosphorus, sulfur, and nitrogen. The pipes have better mechanical properties like high tensile strength (at least 450 MPa), yield strength (at least 220 MPa), and elongation before fracture (around 22%). They can tolerate temperatures of up to 500°C and are thus ideal for application in power plants, boilers, and heat exchangers. These characteristics guarantee reliability and durability in harsh industrial conditions.
