AISI 4130 tube is a low-alloy steel having predominantly carbon (0.28-0.33%), chromium (0.80-1.10%), molybdenum (0.15-0.25%), manganese (0.40-0.60%), and silicon (0.15-0.30%). The mechanical properties are minimum tensile strength of 560 MPa, yield strength of 415 MPa, and elongation of 20% or more. This tubing possesses excellent toughness, weldability, and fatigue strength and is highly suitable for high-strength and high-durability applications such as aerospace, automotive, and oil & gas.
